Disclosing Project Budgets

Q. In a recent RFP I had included a statement which read "Notification of Federal Participation: The project is expected to have the following funding: Federal 80%; Local 20%. I was informed by one of the vendors that the practice is to provide the Grant numbers too. I do not want to disclose the budget for the project. Am I required to provide the Grant numbers?

A. You are not required to disclose the budget for the project. Your "Notification of Federal Participation" is a proper one and is the only Federal requirement regarding public notification of Federal funding.
